Thank you to everyone who attended the Annual Conference this year! The Osthoff Resort at Elkhart Lake provided a wonderful backdrop to the outstanding speakers, education sessions, and networking opportunities that make the WAPC annual conference such a meaningful event. This year we also had a record breaking poster session showcasing the research and innovative programs happening around our state. I always leave the annual conference very sad that it is over so quickly, but also energized and excited to bring what I learn from all of you back to my nursery.

A highlight of this year's annual conference was the opportunity to celebrate the years of dedication and hard work of Ann Conway. It was a treat to watch Ann give a ballroom dancing exhibition and hear tributes from the many friends, family members, and colleagues who were there to wish Ann well. As we bid farewell to Ann, we are very excited to welcome our new Executive Director, Eileen Zeiger. It has been an absolute pleasure to get to know Eileen over the last few weeks. Eileen brings a great deal of experience and enthusiasm to WAPC and I am confident that Eileen will do a wonderful job leading our organization and members into the next era. Ann and Eileen will be working together over the next few months to ensure a smooth transition.

As we enter a year of many changes, I am so grateful for the core values of wisdom, passion, innovation and fearlessness that I have found at WAPC and that will guide us through the next year. The work we do is very meaningful to the women and children of Wisconsin and beyond, and our successes are evident in our programming, our grants, and our wonderful members. I look forward to the next year as President of WAPC and I am so happy to be a member of this organization!
